Overview
If you're looking for a compact, lightweight scooter that you can take with you around town, look no further than the Scout portable scooter by Drive Medical. The Scout has all the great features you would expect in a full-size scooter in a portable, travel-friendly model. The Scout comes standard with 12AH batteries that will provide up to 9 miles on a full charge. You can also upgrade to the 20 AH batteries to further your distance to up to 14 miles on a full charge.
What Makes This Different
The Scout offers many features including a Delta tiller for one-hand operation, adjustable armrests and a generously-sized front basket for storage of personal items. You’ll also have anti-tip wheels and low-maintenance, flat-free tires. The seat back also folds down making storage and portability of this unit nice and simple.
Why We Like It
The Scout has an abundance of features for a great price. Flat-free tires mean you will not have to worry about getting a flat while riding. The 5 pieces it disassembles into (including the basket) are lightweight, with the heaviest only 29 lbs. The 42.5” base is smaller than full-size scooters, making it easier to manage in smaller vehicles. The Scout does well on smooth surfaces like shopping centers, inside residences and smooth sidewalks.

If you have a problem with your scooter, simply call one of our expert customer service representatives; Spinlife.com will have the parts shipped directly to you - free of charge. Every effort will be made to return your scooter to working condition in the shortest time possible. The following parts will be repaired or replaced at our discretion, free of charge, for the following allowable time periods from the date of purchase.
Lifetime Limited Warranty - Product Frame, Seat Post, Platform, Frame Welds
24 Months Limited Warranty - Electronic Controller, Motor/Gearbox Assembly
12 Month Warranty - Batteries
The following are warranted to be free of defects in materials and workmanship at time of delivery and are not included in any additional warranties:
Plastic Shrouds and Footrests, Upholstery and Seating, Armrest Pads, Tires and Tubes, Anti-Tip Wheels, Floor Mats, Plastic Connections, Metal Connection Pins, Hardware, Nuts and Bolts, Brake Pads, Front Rigging Mounting Brackets and any other piece that is not listed in the above warranty.
The warranty does not apply if the unit has been altered in any way, misuse or accident has occurred, batteries were not properly stored, exceeding the weight limit of the unit and acts of nature.
New or refurbished parts may be used.
